Lüneburg, Germany

Lüneburg also called Lunenburg in English, is a town in the German state of Lower Saxony. It is located about 50 km. southeast of Hamburg. It is part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Lüneburg lies on the river llmenua. Lüneburg's urban area, which includes the surrounding communities likeAdendorf, Bardowick, Bleckede, Amelinghausen and Reppenstedt. Lüneburg is also a university town.
